Fear of Starting any Martial Art

The hardest part of starting Brazilian jiu jitsu, or any martial art, is building the confidence to walk through the door. Completely understandable. People have the idea that inside those doors is a place full of mean, super fit men and women that may not accept new people, especially you. This can't be further from the truth. When you come in Rogue Jiu Jitsu you will be greeted and immediately feel the family environment. This is what separates us from any other martial arts gym. You will also see people from ALL WALKS OF LIFE. Different shapes, different sizes, in shape, out of shape, beginners to advanced. New people come in daily, so you will be right behind another new person, and tomorrow, a new guy will come in and they will be behind you. Before you know it, you will be handing down what you've learned to the guys behind you. You will lose the feeling of being new within seconds. The door is always open.
