Amazing place and people; I definitely recommend! Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and willing to help with any techniques or questions. They offer many different classes at multiple times, accommodating working hours. If you're looking for a community of nice people, a great place to learn different martial arts, or even to get an exhaustive workout, this is it!
Wednesday after class I took my youngest two boys to the gym and put them in child care as I went to pick up my oldest (11yo) from swim practice. While there a much bigger kid started picking on and messing with my youngest (5yo). The middle boy (7) saw this and went to stop it, my middle son stood up to that boy without hesitation after a little Altercation the lady watching the kids broke it up. Point is, my middle son is skinny and would have never had that kind of confidence before Jiu Jitsu and definitely not to come to protect his little brother. It was a proud papa moment for me. He never used any Jiu Jitsu moves he said because y’all told them not to use it outside of class. Point is all this work is paying off, thank you!

This place is amazing. The environment is supportive, and every single guy here has become a brother that I can make jokes with while still learning how to better control myself and my environment. You don't have to be big to train, but it will make you strong.
Great Family atmosphere where they really care about their students and people who are curious about classes. Classes for a wide range of age so no you aren't too old, they will work with you at your pace. I went by several different schools and this school was the only one that welcomed me right after I walked through the door, the other schools didn't even notice and one I sat there 20 minutes just to see if they'd respond. I finally got up and walked out. Great friendly instructors at this one. I have been in Martial Arts for 40 years in another style and a fairly high ranked Black Belt Internationally Certified Instructor but I am always willing to learn something new. I have owned and operated Several schools in the style I teach and I will say this is the only school in the area I will train with. They welcomed me with open arms. I really appreciate their honest friendly attitudes and respect their knowledge and experience. If you are even curious come on by and talk with Mike, Gary, or any of the students, you'll be impressed and glad you did. Rogue offers more than just jiu jitsu classes. You also get a community and new friends. I wasn’t hesitant to sign up because I was worried I was too old and out of shape to start jiu jitsu. However, from the first time I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and helpful that you can’t help but love the atmosphere there. Learning jiu jitsu has been great exercise, exciting, challenging, and most of all fun. It seems counterintuitive but I have found it to be an amazing way to unwind and relieve the everyday stresses of life. There are people of all ages, sizes, and walks of life training at Rogue. When you walk through the door, none of that matters anymore; you are just one of the team. Come out and give it a try.

ROGUE is the way to go here on the Northshore. Maybe I'm biased but I have tried numerous other gyms, studios, dojos throughout Louisiana and other than PE(Performance Evolution in Lake Charles) ROGUE has by far hands down incorporates every aspect of martial arts and discipline. My kids enjoy class more than I do most days. Striking days, Gi days, No Gi days and Judo! Most importantly this is a family-oriented gym and the kids come first. I have friends to go to their gyms and train and j like them training is not brutal and a fight every day to break you training partner. At ROGUE the principles, fundamentals, and learning is key. Everyday be better than you were the day before! The adults classes we train hard and take in a lot of key knowledge. The kids take in a lot as well and since starting here it's not a money grab for promotions or favoritism, everyone is/was a white belt once before and each one teaches! I'm glad my son told me to check it out the day we were getting our haircut in the same center. Guys if you want to join a great family friendly gym, competitive and fun, ROGUE jiu-jitsu is the way to go!
My son loves it here and it has helped him learn discipline and to work well with others. Highly recommend for all ages.

My four year old is a student here. He TRULY enjoys it and he is learning discipline as well as team work. I was surprised of the one-on-one attention he receives during class. Several teachers are available during class and if they see a child is having trouble with any exercise they make a personalized effort to assist the child in getting it right. I also enjoy the fact my child is getting plenty of exercise, which makes him sleep better :). Overall, I will recommend this gym to anyone looking to sign up their child to any extra curricular activities.
